Barcelona will host the World Manufacturing Forum

At Fundació CIM-UPC we are proud to announce we take part in the organization of the World Manufacturing Forum, an event that aims to take care of the correct industrial manufacturing world evolution.

In order to accomplish this goal, every edition there got together high-level industrialists, policy makers, and key societal stakeholders across the globe for a cross-exchange of ideas on major macroeconomic trends and manufacturing innovation.

Traditionally, at this meeting there are raised various issues concerning the global economy and the manufacturing worlds, and how these issues converge. In this year program it is introduced the concept of the fourth industrial (r)evolution, making a un with the tittle, intended to indicate the nature of this process. In addition, during the two days of the Forum, topical issues such as new manufacturing ways in which the physical and digital worlds merge will be discussed.

Thus, through various conferences and roundtables, project managers for both European and global levels will meet to discuss and share their ideas and views in the best environment you can think of, where technological progress aimed at industrial manufacturing is the leading exponent and protagonist.

The World Manufacturing Forum will take place on the 3rd and 4th May at the Escola Llotja (Passeig d’Isabel II, 1) from Barcelona. See you there!
